most families have struggled with alcoholism at some point, i used an actual fire at at bourbon factory (that resulted in a fish kill) as an metaphor for my own families struggles

It will soon be ablaze; four alarm, maybe five
I fool a pyre that’s below, with that same Kentucky bourbon
It slides casually down my throat, like a pickerel down a stream
