I wrote this song almost ten years ago after the passing of my grandfather on my dads side. I Finally got a chance to record it right with this record.

Oh Li Lis on it now, the wind it coddles like a mother
as she swings out over grass as green as joy and joyous we
we sing of super heroes we sing our favors to the river
its been flowing since forever as it flows slowly somewhere

oh everybody's here and oh the time that we’ve been having
oh everybody’s here until Sunday when they go

and i lose a bit of something, it hurts me like a pin
sunk deep into my spirit, so deep it lacerates the skin
now Tuesdays often dreary, and wednesdays justs as drab
nothing seems to last its always Sunday Morning

we furrow through the pines, we follow imaginary paths
we’re foraging for treasure, wagons parts and medicine glass
and the animals don’t notice they have seen this kind of thing before
indifferent as sailors enraptured by the river’s peace

oh everybody's here and oh the time that we’ve been having
oh everybody’s here until Sunday when they go

to slip in like a mamba, thats searching for the river
